Amaira Shah, Founder & CEO
This endeavor began with a Grade 10 student Amaira Shah studying at B.D. Somani International School in Mumbai. During her summer break after grade 10 she searched for a 3-week internship. With an interest in fashion business she started looking for a mentor who could give her a glimpse into how the fashion industry actually works.
What seemed a simple task quickly became overwhelming. Sites like LinkedIn required extensive details to create profiles. For a student just out of Grade 10 the experience felt confusing and disproportionate.
Many job portals targeted older candidates or long-term roles; established retail brands offered limited teen programs in India. When Amaira finally found an internship, it lacked structured mentorship to cover the business end-to-end in a short span.
Teen Bridge was conceived as a simple, mentor-first platform — where teenagers connect directly with mentors who design short, focused learning experiences. Profiles are kept simple; mentors guide students through meaningful tasks, exposing them to real business workflows.
Mentors also benefit — they get a framework to structure short-term mentorship effectively, making the weeks more productive for both mentor and student.
Whether you are a teenager looking for your first step into the real world or an experienced mentor wanting to guide a young mind — Teen Bridge is designed to be simple, direct and impact-focused.
